HAVANA
Day 1: Arrival at Havana ’s airport, assistance and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and dinner in the hotel.
HAVANA - GUAMA - TOPES DE COLLANTES
Day 2: Breakfast. Orientation meeting. Departure for Montemar Park , the largest wetlands in the Caribbean . Visit the Taino Indian village and the crocodile-breeding center. Have lunch at La Boca. Transfer to the city of Santa Clara . Visit the Ernesto Che Guevara Monument and the armored train. Arrival at Topes de Collantes, a beautiful spot in the Escambray Mountains . Check-in and dinner in the Los Helechos Hotel.
TRINIDAD
Day 3: Breakfast. Visit El Cubano Park and have lunch there. In the afternoon, tour the city of Trinidad , which UNESCO has declared to be a part of world heritage. Visit the Romantic Museum , the
La Canchanchara Bar and Potters’ House. Check-in and dinner in a hotel in the city. Trinidad Evening show.
TRINIDAD - CAMAGUEY
Day 4: Breakfast. Visit the Manaca-Iznaga Tower, in Sugarmill Valley, one of the most prosperous areas in Cuba in the 17th and 18th centuries, which still preserves its splendor—and whose economy is still based on sugarcane. Departure for Camagüey, passing through the city of Sancti Spíritus on the way. Have lunch in a restaurant in Ciego de Ávila. On arriving in Camagüey, go on a panoramic tour of the city. Check-in and dinner in a hotel.
CAMAGUEY - SANTIAGO DE CUBA
Day 5: Breakfast. Departure for Santiago de Cuba . On the way, visit the city of Bayamo , the second Spanish settlement in Cuba , which Diego Velázquez founded in 1513. Have lunch in a restaurant in the city. Then go on to Santiago de Cuba . On the way, visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre. Check-in and dinner in your hotel.
SANTIAGO DE CUBA
Day 6: Breakfast. Visit Gran Piedra Mountain , that is topped by the largest boulder in the Caribbean and from which you get a wonderful view. Visit the La Isabélica Coffee Plantation . Have lunch in the restaurant on Granma Cay. Tour Santiago de Cuba , the second most important city in Cuba . Filled with both music and history, it is considered the capital of the eastern part of the island and birthplace of the son and of the Cuban Revolution. V isit the Moncada Garrison, Céspedes Park , the Piracy Museum (in Morro Castle ), Santa Ifigenia Cemetery and the house in which Diego Velázquez lived. Then return to your hotel for dinner.
SANTIAGO DE CUBA - HAVANA
Day 7: Breakfast. Free time until it’s time to go to the airport to catch your flight to Havana . Ticket included. Have lunch in Santiago de Cuba ’s El Morro Restaurant or in Havana ’s Rancho Palco Restaurant, depending on the time of your flight. Transfer to your hotel in Havana . Check-in and dinner. Evening at the Riviera Hotel’s Copa Room Cabaret.
HAVANA
Day 8: Breakfast. Orientation meeting. Tour of the city, visiting Old Havana, which UNESCO has declared to be a part of world heritage. See Cathedral, Arms, San Francisco de Asís and Old Squares. Have lunch. In the afternoon, take a panoramic tour of the Capitol, Central Park , Fraternity Park , Revolution Square, the Bocoy Rum Distillery and Colón Cemetery . Return to your hotel. Leave your hotel to watch the
9 p.m. cannon-firing ceremony. Have dinner in a local restaurant.
HAVANA
Day 9: Breakfast. Free time
in Havana while waiting for your international flight. Transfer
to the airport (or to a hotel if you want to extend your stay) included.
