HAVANA
Day 1: Breakfast. Orientation
meeting. Visit the Morro Castle-La Cabaña Fortress Lookout
Point and Old Havana, which UNESCO has declared to be a part of
world heritage, seeing Cathedral, Arms, San Francisco de Asís
and Old Squares. Have lunch. In the afternoon, go on a panoramic
tour of the Capitol, Central Park , Fraternity Park , Revolution
Square, the Bocoy Rum Distillery and Colón Cemetery . Return
to your hotel. Leave your hotel to watch the 9 p.m. cannon-firing
ceremony. Have dinner in a local restaurant. Evening at the Salón
Rojo Cabaret.
HAVANA - VIÑALES - HAVANA
Day 2: Breakfast. Departure
for the Valley of Viñales , in Pinar del Río Province,
the westernmost province in Cuba , where the best tobacco in the
world is grown. Visit a cigar factory. On the way, stop off at the
Guabina Farm, where horses are raised. Have a fresh fruit snack.
Tour the valley, visiting the Mural of Prehistory. Have lunch in
a local restaurant. Optional visit to Indio Cave . On the way, visit
the Tobacco Farmer's House (during the growing season), to see tobacco
plantations and learn how tobacco is grown and processed. Visit
the Los Jazmines Lookout Point. Check-in and dinner in a hotel in
the area.
LEVISA CAY
Day 3: Breakfast.
Departure for the dock at Palma Rubia to board a boat that will
take you to Levisa Cay for a fabulous day of swimming, scuba diving
and sunning at a beach with extremely white sand and a beautiful
coral seabed. Have a seafood lunch. Departure for Soroa. Check-in
and dinner in Villa Soroa.
HAVANA -SOROA - LAS TERRAZAS
-HAVANA
Day 4: Breakfast. Visit the
orchid garden and the waterfall at Soroa. See the cigar factory
in Candelaria. Then go on to Las Terrazas and visit the community
there. Optional canopy jump. Visit a farmer’s house. Have
lunch in the ruins of the Buenavista Coffee Plantation. In the afternoon,
take a dip in the San Juan River . Return to Havana , with check-in
at a Havana hotel to extend your stay. |
